I have the ECAE plugin.
I have set the image to use “featured image” and set the width to 180px.
That works fine, however how do I change the height of the image so that each excerpt image is the same height.
At the moment they are all the correct width but different heights.

May I see your website? I suspect it’s theme issue. If it is, then you need to apply a little bit custom CSS into your theme

Unfortunately it’s impossible to make all featured image have the same height, since they have a different height from the beginning. My suggestion is to make all images have the same size before upload.
It’s a great idea to make user be able to select the thumbnail size to show, maybe we can add that feature on the next release.

Thank you for replying.
I decided to not use the plugin and have manually coded it to look how I want.
I was able to use the add_image_size() function to add in a custom featured image size for my excerpt image. That way all of the images are square and soft cropped so they still look good.
For now I think I’ll continue without the plugin but I’ll keep an eye out in case any new features for ECAE might be of help in the future.
