To activate our premium plugin, first, you need to unpack / unzip the premium pack, It will extract two file : easy-custom-auto-excerpt.zip and easy-custom-auto-excerpt-premium.zip

After that, if you already have installed the free Easy Custom Auto Excerpt plugin, than upload and activate the premium files (easy-custom-auto-excerpt-premium.zip)

Or If you don’t have any installed Easy Custom Auto Excerpt plugin, than upload and activate both of two files (easy-custom-auto-excerpt.zip and easy-custom-auto-excerpt-premium.zip)

I did that and followed the installation guide, and I still can’t use the Premium features. I uploaded both files to wp-admin–>plugins. How are the files activated once they are uploaded? Thanks!

I meant that I added the files to wp-content–>plugins!

If you have uploaded both of files, you will get this on your WordPress Plugin’s page:

Than, activate both of plugin and you will get the complete feature of Easy Custom Auto Excerpt.

If you still have trouble when installing the plugin, we can do it for you.

In your previous install, i think the issue happen because you have uploaded the file from site c-panel or server.

If you have uploaded the plugin file from c-panel / server, it might become not readable by WordPress because a file permission issue. We recommended to upload the plugin file from WordPress plugin installer.
