Integrate with Memberpress?

Hello
I like your ACAE plugin! I want to use it with my membership plugin, Memberpress (https://www.memberpress.com). That way I can display nice excerpts to users before they log in.

But MP and ACAE do not work together. It seems MP cannot recognise the excerpts generated by ACAE.

I have spoken to MP who are very helpful active developers. They can get ACAE to work with category archives but not with individual posts.

Can you help with this at all from your end?

Here is what MP say:

It appears the ECAE plugin detects if a single post is being shown, and if so, it won’t run its excerpt filtering. I can’t find a way to force it to even though we are calling get_the_excerpt() in MemberPress.

If the developers of that ECAE plugin could always return the excerpt when it’s requested via get_the_excerpt() calls, then I think it would work fine with MemberPress.

Thanks for using our plugin!.

Our plugin has supported to call the excerpt via get_the_excerpt(), and also the excerpt can be called via tonjoo_ecae_get_the_excerpt filter. Please refer to the screenshot below for detailed code

Thanks for this. According to my memberpress contact, this code works well for archive pages. The problem is that for single posts it returns the full content.
We want not-logged-in users to see excerpts also for individual posts and pages. We have this working well with Advanced Excerpt but were hoping to make use of ECAE to allow excerpts to be switched off for individual posts/pages.
Can you help? Or maybe give an email address to allow MP to discuss with you directly?

Currently our plugin don’t have a feature to limit some user role(s) on single post, but that was a good idea and maybe that will comes to the future release, and we will notify you by that time.
