We are really sorry, without direct debugging, we cannot tell you what happened exactly.

All we can do is, suggest you to re-download & re-install the plugin.

We also use the plugin, and everything is okay. Maybe it’s conflicting with another plugin, or it’s permission issue.

Can I see your website? Maybe it’s theme issue. If yes, we can modify a bit of its CSS

Also try to use characters instead, rather than paragraph. And set the number of characters to show before excerpt.
