I think it’s theme issue. Please add this code at the bottom of your theme’s CSS (style.css) file :

.post-thumbnail {

    display: none !important;

}

well this is the default theme of wordpress…i mean i had no changes made to it

and where is that? here? egym.ro/wp-content/themes/twentysixteen/css/editor-style.css ?

if this is the right location, ive added it, no change

Yes, some theme’s already has featured image feature, that somehow ECAE cannot override it (Maybe hardcoded)

What about keeping a list of themes well know by your team are compatible with the plugin?

Right now I’m experiencing this frustation of not getting what I saw in your examples and the most probable cause is the theme I use.

I tried the proposed solution here on your theme MINO (free version), but I’m not sure if it’s right file because style.css at root of the theme folder is practically empty, except for some comments and as I applied the code it did not work.

I can see some .css files at wp-content/themes/mino/assets/css

but there are several of them there.
