After I purchased and downloaded the premium excerpt plugin, I tried to install it through the WP admin console. This is the message I got:

Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin install failed.

I’ve tried downloading and installing multiple times with no luck. Any suggestions?

You need to unpack it from the zip first.
