Trouble with double excerpts for posts

Hi there, i just installed the East custom auto excerpt plugin for our site except i’m noticing 2 excerpts for each post on our homepage now and i only need 1 excerpt…

It seems like the second excerpt is in with the metadata for the post at the bottom of the post…?

Any help on how to get rid of that?

Hi there!

I suspect the another excerpt is your theme default excerpt function. You should remove the default excerpt in your theme 🙂

You should edit your theme..

It usually in archives.php file. Find something like <?php get_excerpts() ?>, and delete it.
