Images are distorted in slider
Updated on May 11, 2020 in Sangar Slider

Hello,

Can you please go to this URL and view this issue that I am having?

I suspect that the issue is with SMUSH PRO from WPMUDEV and how it resized the images to save space. However, this does not explain why the images are not fitting the frame of the slider, unless they are not resized to fit the frame by the plugin.

So could you please look at this and let me know if you think there is a solution OTHER THAN removing SMUSH PRO. I have to have the compression of the images. But I also do not want to switch slider plugins just because of this issue.

Please help me.

Also, when I look at it in the editor it does not do what it does on the front end. Very strange.

I just increased it to 1000 and it made things worse. The issue is not the container. The issue is that the image is not being sized properly by the plugin. I assume that the plugin uses the featured image for the placeholder image. That is a cool function, but for some reason when the images are resized by SMUSH PRO, it started doing this.

Why would it do that?

I am reverting all the images back to their original sizes so that I can disable SMUSH PRO to see if that solves the issue. I hate to get rid of SMUSH PRO as it really saves me a bunch of space on my server. I will update you to see if this stops the issue with the images.

Hi,
We don’t have sumsh pro so we can’t make a further investigation. So give us the credential login to find out what is the poblem.

Best Regards,
