Can’t insert Images from libary

Hello. I have a problem to insert images in a Slider. When I want to Insert an image the “Layer Image” pops up … there I should choose an Image. SO far so good. BUT all my images are in my WOrdPress media Libary … so if I click “Set image” the libary opens but in the back of the “Layer image” Window … so i can’t choose an Image to insert …So what to do ? Testet in Firefox and Chrome (newest versions). Thanks for your help!!!

This is the same issue I have except I can choose a background image from the Media Library but I cannot choose an image in Image Layer.

No solution so far, not sure anyone is still looking at it after multiple requests.
