Umm… I don’t see any ECAE in there. Did I miss somtehing? Or maybe you deactivate the plugin?

I’ve literally been trying to get down to the bottom of this for more than a week now. I’m simply trying to excerpt posts (like this https://s1.postimg.org/f4j4lig67/Screenshot_2017_02_18_02_05_13.png) with the same categories on specific pages.

You can see the 5 Different Pages on my home page www.creditandcoffee.info

Once visitors click a page (ie I Want Help on Getting Started Page) I would like excerpts from all posts with category "Getting Started" to show on this page.

Please advise

I did not see any post on that category, it might be conflicting with other plugins :/

You can try these steps:

First, try to use with another theme. Is the issue still persist? If no, then it’s your theme issue

Second, try to deactivate all other plugins one-by-one to see what plugin causing the issue.
