Excerpt for certain category only?

I’m interested in this premium version of the plugin.  I understand you can omit posts.  Is that done on an individual post by post basis?  Can the auto excerpt be limited to only specified categories? So, for example, only posts in the category “news” get the auto excerpt?

For now, the premium plugin doesn’t have your requirement, but in the next month we will schedule to implement this new feature.
