Hi I’ve just installed and nearly finished setting up your Plugin Ongkos Kirim.

I basically want to offer Free Shipping to any location in Bali.

The only area that needs to be clarified is the:
“Custom / Free Ongkos Kirim”

Could you please give an example of what to enter in these fields to set up free shipping?

Ekspedisi
Jenis
Tarif

Sorry my Bahasa Indonesian is not great. So, hopefully you can reply to me in English.

Hi,

Sorry for late response

Ekspedisi = Courier Expedition
Jenis = Type of expedition
Tarif = Price/cost

Yes it’s very easy. I’ve made a very short tutorial for you how to do it :

Hope it helps 🙂

Thank you

Hi Zea, Thanks for your awesome support!

The video was a huge help and much appreciated 🙂

I’m going to have a couple more questions for you tomorrow in regard to using Ongkos Kirim together with

https://www.woothemes.com/products/paypal-express/

Paypal Express for my Payment gateway.

There seems to be some irregularities. Yet, I need to study and document the matter before opening a new thread here.

I am also wondering about how to optimize the site and load speed.

Does the call to your API normally slow down Internationally located Servers? Mine is based in the US.

Would you recommend a cache plugin like W3 Total Cache or perhaps a CDN Service to enhance the site load and over all transaction speed?

Thanks Again Zea

Hi,

Regarding of your questions,

“Does the call to your API normally slow down Internationally located Servers? Mine is based in the US.”

No. Our server is in Singapore (only 1 second call from US) and also the plugin has a cache, so same request don’t need to be fecth from server again.

“Would you recommend a cache plugin like W3 Total Cache or perhaps a CDN Service to enhance the site load and over all transaction speed?”

For overall performance, yes. But caching plugin like W3 total cache can be a little bit tricky. So it depend on your setting and configuration.

No problem, You’re welcome 🙂

Thank you
