My guess is, Genesis have their own strict excerpt functions. And somehow ECAE cannot override it.

I think your theme is not fully compitable. As I said before, genesis have their own excerpt function. Do you use old genesis theme?

The hard way, I can fix that only by hardcoding it, but I need your FTP/cPanel account.

Or easy way, you can use another theme…

Hi Zea, I have two blogs which are using the Eleven40 Pro theme of Genesis and both are up-to-date.

On this blog at http://freyer.com/, Easy Custom Auto Exercpt Pro works, and at http://jaredfreyer.com/ it does not work.

On http://jaredfreyer.com/, the problem seems to lie with the child theme somehow, as de-activating all other plugins made no difference to the result.
