Image shows in first search result (overriding NO image)

I’m thrilled with this plugin — xactly what I needed, easy install — but although I selected NO to exclude all images, strangely when the first post in Search output contains an image anywhere, it is added to the excerpt. Subsequent listed posts are shown title and excerpt only, as desired. Any ideas?
