Does this plugin work with pages as well as posts? The read more link is not showing up in the page excerpt on the home page. I’m using the foxy theme.

I’m trying to add a read more link to the page excerpt that is on my home page. I have enabled the plug in but a link is not showing. http://madgeshatbox.com/. The page except is Granddaughter’s journey.
I when to excerpt location you have circled and added the page under basic. Still doesn’t show up.
