Easy Custom Excerpts breaks home page

Hi there,

Love the plugin but for some reason it breaks the home page. See the video. I wouldn’t think it would effect the plugin but possibly it changes enough about the core wordpress functionality, I’m not sure:

Please let me know if you have any thoughts. The Home page is not the posts page.

I disabled the plugin for now but feel free to enable. Using the CommunityJunction BuddyPress Theme.

Hi chrtravels,
If it breaks your home page you can disable it specific to homepage. You can do it via settings:
http://prntscr.com/iundjk

By that kind of settings, ECAE still exceprt other page suc as category page:
https://www.wethepeople.io/category/finance/
