ECAE extracts sometimes too much from the post, and sometimes too little or none from the post. What is wrong? How can I correct it?

Hi Hotaru,
In WordPress 5 which use gutenberg, we enable to insert post in different ways/format. Sometimes ECAE can’t excerpt on certain way/format. So just identify which ways/format which excerpt is successfully generated and stick with that ways/format.

Hi,
It seems there is problem with character method, maybe because you use japanese text, but we are not sure and need investigate more. You still can use paragrapgh method to get the excerpt.

Does it have anything to do with characters typically used in coding that I forgot to escape, such as & and > or <, etc.?

Our best suggestion is just try not to use strange character that might cause break your excerpt or use paragraph method.
To change profile image you can go to your member page (https://forum.tonjoostudio.com/member/gomibako/) and edit profile.

I will use the paragraph method for now.
But I cannot find a way to change this profile image. There is no where to upload an image, and nothing happens when I click this profile image either, as it is not a link anyway.
