Plugin conflicts with WooCommerce
Updated on August 1, 2017 in Fluid Responsive Slideshow

I installed this on a development site that is getting ready to launch. I love the functionality on the slideshow, but if it is enabled, I am unable to use or get to the settings in the WooCommerce shopping cart. I just get an error “Action failed. Please refresh the page and retry.”

Is there a way to get the slideshow to work with the shopping cart plugin?

Hi there!

Sorry for late response. What version of WC do you use?

Can you please give a screenshot regarding of your issue?

It might be because we rarely update FRS these days, and it become incompatible with another plugins (and WooCommerce is always update its plugin, so…).

We already created next version, more advance FRS, called Sangar Slider. Please check it out 😉

Anyway, I’ll report this issue to our dev, and we will update it 🙂

Thank you

I’m using WooCommerce version 3.11.

I’ve tried to upload a screenshot, but I get an upload error attempting to do so.

In order to try to resolve this quickly, I’ve gone ahead and purchased the Sangar slider. But now that I’ve installed it, I don’t seem to be able to get to the screen to put in the license code.

I have a message across the top of the screen that reads "Please enter your Sangar Slider license code in Options Page" but when I click the button for the Options page, it just says "Loading".

Hello ken,

I have tried on my local site and the license page is working. How about open the license page trough admin menu Sangar Slider > Tonjoo License (see attached) ?

""

If it’s didn’t work either, please provide us your credential, so we can look closely to the problem.

Regards

And I just realized that even with FR Slider disabled and Sangar Slider enabled I am having the exact same issue with WooCommerce – it seems to conflict with the settings for the shopping cart, which is not at all useful. I really like the FR Slideshow, and I expect I would like the Sangar slideshow, but not if they are going to conflict with the primary purpose of the site. Please let me know if you are able to figure out the issue quickly. The site owner is anxious to launch, and if we cannot resolve this, I will need to find a different solution.

Hi Ken,

Thank you for your patience,

I have investigated the problem with the sangar slider plugin, and luckily i found the solution for it. I have updated your plugin with the modified one, and it’s working. Please take a look and give me the result.

Best regards,
Haris

Yes, that seems to have done the trick. I had to reconstruct the slides I had in the FR slider in the Sangar slider, but that’s done. I think we’re good for now.

Thank you!
