“Read More…” button link does not work on iPad

The ECAE plugin "Read More…" button renders correctly regardless of screen size. It also links correctly to the full post on my laptop and my iPhone. However the link portion does not work on my iPad. How can I fix this?

On the Blog page, each post correctly lists as an excerpt. At the bottom of each excerpt the "read more…" button links to the full post. That button works correctly when viewed on a laptop/desktop computer. It also works when viewed on a smart phone. However, when I view it on my iPad, the button appears, but touching it does not link to the full post.

Have you already tried in another theme?
I suspect this is a theme issue.

No I haven’t tried that. However, all the other buttons and tabs work correctly regardless of browser or device. Only the EACE button doesn’t work on the tablet. Unfortunately, changing themes is not a viable option in this case. Any other ideas?
